The largest 15th Century Knight’s Castle in Pomerania. It is built on oak piles, like the buildings in Venice and is the only castle on water in Poland.
Legend has it that the number of windows in the castle relates to the number of days in the week, the number of rooms to the number of weeks, the number of entrances to the number of months and the four towers represent the four seasons.

We invite you to visit the Castle Restaurant with a terrace and a beautiful view over the lake. The cuisine of the castle will satisfy lovers of healthy and light meals, full of fresh vegetables, fruits and aromatic herbs.
Delicious meals, fine wines, a family atmosphere by the cozy fireplace and our polite and discreet service will long stay in your memory.During good weather and warm, summer evenings, may we suggest trying our coffee lounge on the terrace.
The Knight’s Dessert or Apple Pie hot from the oven served with vanilla sauce are most popular with our guests.
CONFERENCES
Hotel Podewils ? a 15th century Knights? Castle in Krag is the perfect location for holding receptions, conferences, symposiums and training seminars. Our conference rooms, which have excellent acoustics and are professionally equipped with the most up-to-date audio-visual equipment and internet connection (ISDN), can hold up to 150 people. Number of conference rooms: 5.
For organising meetings for smaller groups, from 6 to 12 people, we have small conference rooms
situated in the castle towers or in our spacious suites. During intervals we recommend the Castle Coffee Break with freshly baked, home made cakes.
With our experience we can make sure every detail is double checked.

One of the most interesting buildings in this region is the ancient 15th century Knights’ Castle in Krag, situated 30km to the south of Darlow and the sea and 40km from Koszalin and Slupsk. It is the biggest castle on water in Poland. A few sentences can not give the full description of the region which is why we suggest: visiting Krag – and seeing the picturesque surroundings.
